The Living Wage for Families Campaign has hired a new Campaign Organizer, Halena Seiferling.
Halena comes to the campaign from a diverse background in policy, organizing, and communications. Halena is originally from Regina, Saskatchewan (Treaty 4) and moved west in 2014 to obtain a Masters in Public Policy from SFU. Her thesis focused on measures to encourage more women to run for office, focusing on municipal governments.
Halena has worked on issues including electoral reform, Indigenous rights, gender equity, and climate justice and adaptation. When she's not working, Halena enjoys traveling and dancing.
