200 Living Wage Employers

Twenty more employers have now been certified as paying their staff and contracted workers a Living Wage.

This means that we will be ending the year with 200 certified Living Wage Employers!

The past year at the Living Wage for Families Campaign has been an exciting one, full of change and growth at a time of flux and uncertainty.
We have produced an impact report that highlights our success this year and lays out our focus for the year ahead. Read the report.

A Vancouver print-shop is offering savings on their services for other Living Wage Employers.

Eleven employers across BC recently received certification as Living Wage Employers.

The newest Living Wage Employers are Aplus Cleaning, Artee Screen Printing, Aspire Professional Corporation, Cascadia Innovative Ventures, Community Futures Central Kootenay, Habitat for Humanity Mid-Vancouver Island, Hakai Energy Solutions, Jillian Harris Design, Para Space Landscaping, Squamish Nation and West Coast Building Restoration Inc.

(Quesnel – September 7, 2016) The Living Wage for Families Campaign congratulates Quesnel on becoming the second municipality in Canada to implement a living wage policy. By adopting a living wage policy for its direct staff and contractors, the City of Quesnel is making it a little bit easier for working families to meet their expenses.

Two more companies certified as Living Wage Employers

SAP Labs Canada and Briteweb have recently been certified as Living Wage Employers, committing to pay all their staff and contract service staff a living wage. 

On April 25, 2012 School District 69 (Parksville/Qualicum) unanimously passed the following motion to become the first school district in Canada to pass a living wage policy.
