Artee Screen Printing's discount for Living Wage Employers.
A Vancouver print-shop is offering savings on their services for other Living Wage Employers.
Artee Screen-Printing is one of the latest employers to join the Living Wage for Families Campaign.
They are a local screen printer that prints custom, bulk orders for other small businesses, organizations, teams and community centres on t-shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts and tote bags.
“I feel very strongly about maintaining a sense of community and being able to pay a living wage plays a small role in helping build up communities. Everyone should be paid as fairly and equally as possible.” Diana Macdonald, Owner of Artee Screen-Printing
A “Living Wage” is the hourly amount a family needs to cover basic expenses, including food, clothing, rental housing, childcare, transportation, and small savings to cover illness or emergencies. The Living Wage rate varies across the province from $15.54 an hour in the Fraser Valley to $19.50 an hour in Metro-Vancouver.
