Sustainability is the core value at Village Cleaners, a garment cleaning company and Living Wage Employer located in False Creek in the former Olympic Village.

Village Cleaners specializes in an environmentally friendly process called wet cleaning, which uses water and non-toxic, biodegradable detergents. It’s a safe, effective solution to dry cleaning. They also have reusable garment bags, a hanger recycling program and two electric vehicle charging stations in the parking lot underneath their store.

“Sustainability includes taking care of people and the environment,” said Robert Tosoni, director. “By certifying as a Living Wage Employer we are making a long-term commitment to both.”
